Description


This MANDATORY workshop is for students placed on academic probation for the first time.

Factors related to poor academic performance, impact on future retention, and other related topics will be discussed. The presentation emphasizes tools, strategies, and college support services available to students to regain control of their academic career and successfully reach their goals. Following the session, students who are not yet registered will meet with an adviser and register for classes. Students who are already registered will have the opportunity to review their schedule with an adviser to ensure a successful semester.
Attendance in ONE session is required prior to registration. br>Please do not enroll in multiple sessions. Allow ample time before and after your scheduled session to avoid time conflict. No one will be allowed in once session has started. Bring your Student ID card to the workshop. NOTE: STUDENTS WHO PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED THIS WORKSHOP SHOULD NOT REPEAT IT BUT SHOULD INSTEAD SEE THEIR ADVISER IN EARLY FEBRUARY TO CREATE A SUCCESS PLAN FOR THE SPRING.
